Pink Spalted Maple Burl 12.5” Chefs Knife
12.5” chefs knife with 7.5” satin finished blade. Blade width is approximately 2 3/8”. Crafted of high carbon 1095 steel and hardened to 60+ HRC this blade can easily meet your kitchen needs. The handle is made from a stabilized* Spalted Maple Burl dyed pink. The soft pink tones are offset by stainless and black mosaic and black G10 pins and white G10 liners highlight the handle tones.
*Stabilized wood is wood that has been processed to improve its stability and durability by impregnating it with a resin or polymer. Dye is often introduced adding beautiful coloration to supplement the natural grain and patterns.
For best edge retention use with a wooden, bamboo, or plastic cutting board. (Do not use on glass, ceramic, or stone surfaces). Use a kitchen steel for daily edge maintenance. Take care of your blade and it will serve you well for life.
