The handle is made from stabilized* natural and teal green curly maple with stainless steel/rose steel/brass/black mosaic pins. Orange G10 spacers, liners, and pins add the final touches to this awesome chefs knife that's guaranteed to rock you like a hurricane.
*Stabilized wood is wood that has been processed to improve its stability and durability by impregnating it with a resin or polymer. Dye is often introduced adding beautiful coloration to supplement the natural grain and patterns.
For best edge retention use with a wooden, bamboo, or plastic cutting board. (Do not use on glass, ceramic, or stone surfaces). Use a kitchen steel for daily edge maintenance. Take care of your blade and it will serve you well for life.
