On 19 December 2018 I forged my first blade in a friend's workshop. In December of 2019 my wife gave me a forge for Christmas and I began learning the craft. I am a self-taught knifemaker and am passionate about the process of learning and improving my craft. After 20 years of service at the Central Intelligence Agency I retired in 2022 and since then creating knives has become my focus and my passion. Every blade is designed and handcrafted by me in my workshop in Northern Virginia. One of the joys of making has been selecting incredible wood varieties for the handles and finding interesting color pairings to complement them. Knife making is a journey I never thought I'd go on but every step of the way has been a wonderful learning experience and has introduced me to many incredible artisans, makers, and customers.
